Australian Dollar Rises Against Majors

The Australian dollar strengthened against the other major
currencies in the Asian session on Thursday.
The Australian dollar rose to a 2-day high of 0.9627 against the
Canadian dollar, from yesterday's closing value of 0.9588.
Against the euro and the yen, the aussie edged up to 1.5319 and
80.31 from yesterday's closing quotes of 1.5395 and 79.71,
respectively.
Against the U.S. and the New Zealand dollars, the aussie
advanced to 0.7495 and 1.0875 from yesterday's closing quotes of
0.7451 and 1.0828, respectively.
If the aussie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find
resistance around 0.99 against the loonie, 1.49 against the euro,
83.00 against the yen, 0.77 against the greenback and 1.12 against
the kiwi.
