Australian Dollar Rises Against Majors

The Australian dollar strengthened against the other major
currencies in the Asian session on Wednesday.
The Australian dollar rose to a 6-day high of 1.0745 against the
NZ dollar, from an early 2-day low of 1.0614. At yesterday's close,
the aussie was trading at 1.0642 against the kiwi.
Against the U.S. and the Canadian dollars, the aussie advanced
to 5-day highs of 0.8008 and 0.9937 from early 2-day lows of 0.7899
and 0.9799, respectively. At yesterday's close, the aussie was
trading at 0.7935 against the greenback and 0.9831 against the
loonie.
The aussie, which ended yesterday's deals at 93.52 against the
yen, strengthened to a 5-day high of 94.44.
The aussie edged up to 1.4171 against the euro, from an early
6-day low of 1.4366. The pair closed yesterday's trading at
1.4337.
If the aussie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find
resistance around 1.08 against the kiwi, 0.82 against the
greenback, 1.00 against the loonie, 98.00 against the yen and 1.39
against the euro.
