Completion of Horizontal Drilling Programme - MeyGen

Atlantis, a global leader in the tidal power sector, is pleased to announce that all of the horizontal directional drilling ("HDD") works for MeyGen Phase 1A have now been completed on time for the cable installation.

Four bore holes were drilled at a distance of 570 meters underground to within 2m of their exit target offshore which is a significant engineering achievement and a milestone for this flagship project.

The installation of the offshore submarine cable can now commence during the summer.

The HDD work package has been completed on time and with no reported incidents or injuries.
