RETRACTION OF TR1 NOTIFICATION
Antofagasta plc (the "Company") has today received notification
of the retraction of the TR1 notification made on 27 April 2010
that BlackRock Inc's voting rights in the Company had gone above
5%. BlackRock has never held more than 5% of the voting rights.
