What:FOX Sports, the umbrella
entity representing 21st Century FOX’s wide array of multi-platform
US-based sports assets, will visit the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times
Square to celebrate the company’s first-ever MLS Cup broadcast.
In honor of the occasion, former MLS and U.S. Men’s
National Team player and FOX Sports soccer analyst Alexi
Lalas and lead soccer announcer John
Strong, will ring the Opening Bell.
The championship of professional soccer in the U.S.
and Canada, the MLS Cup is the pinnacle of the Major League Soccer
season.
The 2016 MLS Cup is the 21st annual championship game of MLS and
will feature Seattle Sounders FC versus Toronto FC at BMO Field in
Toronto, Ontario on December 10.
Coverage for the 2016 MLS Cup kicks off on December 10 at 7:30
p.m. ET on FOX. This marks the first time since 2008 that the MLS
Cup will air live on English-language network television.
