Euro Rises Against Majors

(RTTNews) - The euro strengthened against the other major currencies in the pre-European session on Thursday.
The euro rose to a 2-day high of 1.0899 against the Swiss franc, from an early low of 1.0887.
Against the pound, the U.S. dollar and the yen, the euro edged up to 0.8527, 1.1276 and 113.33 from early lows of 0.8499, 1.1259 and 113.10, respectively.
If the euro extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 1.04 against the franc, 0.87 against the pound, 1.45 against the greenback and 119.00 against the yen.
