Dollar Advances After U.S. Data

(RTTNews) - Following the release of the U.S. CPI, housing starts and building permits for July at 8:30 am ET Tuesday, the greenback rose against the other major currencies.
The greenback was trading at 1.3349 against the euro, 0.9069 against the franc, 1.6633 against the pound and 102.73 against the yen around 8:31 am ET.
