Cartesian increases European operations

Cartesian (Nasdaq:CRTN), a specialist provider of consulting services and managed solutions to the global communications, technology and digital media industries, today announced the expansion of its business development team in the European market with the addition of three new hires.

Andy Harper, Andy Weston and Jonathan Hayley join Cartesian’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Business Development and Sales organization.

“Expanding our business development and senior delivery teams in EMEA will help build on our successes in 2014 in growing our business,” stated Donald Klumb, CEO of Cartesian. “Our three new hires in the region – Andy, Andy and Jonathan – bring a broad spectrum of expertise and knowledge and are welcome additions to our team of industry experts. I look forward to their contributions as we elevate the value proposition of our consulting and solutions offerings in 2015 and beyond.”

As Vice Presidents for Business Development and Sales, Andy Harper and Jonathan Hayley are responsible for new business development. Harper is focusing on building new accounts across the region and brings his extensive experience from working for other communications and technology firms such as LogicaCMG and WeDo Technologies. Hayley’s responsibilities cover the UK and Nordic countries and brings expertise from his previous work at consulting and software vendors including Subex and most recently Oracle.

As Vice President in Solution Sales, Andy Weston is driving Cartesian’s solutions-based initiatives in the region. Prior to joining the company, Weston led the European Channel for Amdocs Customer Management division.
