FTI Consulting Appoints Carlyn Taylor and Michael Eisenband as Global Co-Leaders of Corporate Finance & Restructuring

Transformation and Transaction-Related Practices
FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE:FCN), the global business advisory firm
dedicated to helping organizations protect and enhance their
enterprise value, today announced that Carlyn Taylor and Michael
Eisenband have been appointed as Global Co-Leaders of the firm’s
Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment, effective
immediately. In their new roles, Ms. Taylor will lead the segment’s
industry, business transformation and transaction-related practices
and Mr. Eisenband will lead the segment’s restructuring practices.
Ms. Taylor will continue to serve on, and Mr. Eisenband will join,
the firm's Executive Committee, which includes segment
leaders, regional leaders and heads of key corporate functions.

Ms. Taylor, who is based in Denver, has been a Senior Managing
Director in the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment since
2002. Prior to her appointment to the Global Co-Leader role, Ms.
Taylor founded the firm’s Telecom, Media and Technology (“TMT”)
industry practice, which today is a global team of more than 120
professionals. She also serves as Chief Executive Officer of FTI
Capital Advisors and is the Industry Initiative Leader on the
firm’s Executive Committee. Ms. Taylor has over 25 years of
experience providing strategy, business transformation,
restructuring and transaction-related services to hundreds of TMT
industry companies, financing sources and private equity investors.
Ms. Taylor has also provided expert witness testimony in dozens of
cases on valuation, damages and industry issues in TMT industries.
Ms. Taylor is a certified public accountant in Colorado, accredited
in business valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants, a certified insolvency and restructuring advisor and
has investment banking licenses from FINRA.
Mr. Eisenband, who is based in New York, has been a Senior
Managing Director in the Corporate Finance & Restructuring
segment since 2004. Prior to his appointment to the Global
Co-Leader role, Mr. Eisenband most recently served as the National
Leader of the Creditor Advisory practice and Head of the New York
metro region in the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment.
With more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Eisenband is renowned
nationally as an industry leader in providing restructuring
services to creditors and companies in Chapter 11 bankruptcies and
out-of-court workouts. Mr. Eisenband has significant experience in
a range of industries, including retail and consumer products,
financial services, food service and processing, steel, airlines
and real estate. Mr. Eisenband is a member of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Governing Board
of the Commercial Finance Association. He is also a member of the
Turnaround Management Association – New York Chapter.
