I will stand by my original belief that even if the rulings go against the boys, it is short term at best. Even in the unlikely event that Brandon wins, with victory in hand Brandon will end up capitulating to the energy reality of the world and offload the progressive nut jobs with the election in the rear view mirror.

More importantly, they cannot wait and I maintain that even if Bradon's stooges rule against Delfin, the boys will still move forward with FID on the first FLNG even without an extension. The extension will come and the FID does not mean that they have to fund everything day 1. BUT the contracts won't wait nor will the slips for construction. They have plenty of financial backing to date to FID on 1 even without the RM.

They will not just sit buy doing nothing while the approval process drags on and contracts flee etc. Plus, FERC is on their side and time is ticking away on their 4-year renewal. Mark my words.

Thank you Mr. C! Yes i agree this is Delfin’s last leg. If Delfin is denied the extension, they will have to hope for a Trump victory if they aim to keep the project alive. Though being a 1st time extension and with all the support they received from individuals all over the US and other corporations, i’m hopeful they will approve the extension!

Plus Port Arthur had their extension request approved last year, so the DOE isn’t completely against these projects

This is why I'm anti voting. Voting within a corporate democracy is not about left or right (both sides have the same donors), it's just giving consent to be ruled by corruption. It’s all under the Department of Energy, but FERC maintains more independence in its decisions typically from the DOE, hence why it is lateral and connected via a dashed line to the DOE in that chart and in the same category above Inspector General, who is charged with independently investigating and auditing the DOE itself.

The DOE played a role in FERC’s decision to extend us back in the fall, but the commission is still supposed to ultimately make decisions for itself independent of the DOE.

That is why FERC is still issuing extensions during the DOE pause.
