MPOS FOR ON-THE-GO MERCHANTS
Verifone e265 is a highly reliable, durable, and compact mPOS
terminal that can be paired with any smart phone or tablet. It
enables merchants to bring globally certified card payment
acceptance including EMV, contactless/NFC, mobile wallet and
traditional magnetic stripe directly to consumers in any merchant
environment—helping to bridge the gap in markets that are still
converting from cash to cards.
“Imagine those merchants in hard-to-reach places where simply
adding the power of accepting card payments can really change their
game,” said Glen Robson, executive vice president, Global Head of
Terminal Solutions, Verifone. “On the other side of the spectrum,
Verifone e265 is an ideal mPOS solution for merchants that want to
offer value-added services to increase traffic and revenue with a
multi-channel approach to commerce right at their fingertips.”
COMMERCE AND EFFICIENCY CAPABILITIES
Merchants will have the ability to connect their online and
offline sales channels by integrating Verifone e265 with any type
of smart tablet. Tablet integration enables merchants to access
ecommerce apps available to deliver digital coupons, loyalty and
rewards during check out. In addition, merchants can increase
operational efficiency by integrating with a variety of business
apps such as those used for tracking clients and inventory.
THE ULTIMATE IN MPOS FLEXIBILITY
Until now, many merchants have had to choose from two
restrictive scenarios: use “fobs” or dongles that plug into audio
ports with limited payment functionality, or be bound to a payment
terminal that only supports one particular type of consumer smart
device and operating system. Thanks to the Verifone e265, clients
serving a diverse population of merchants worldwide, including
independent and micro merchants, can offer greater choice, freedom,
security, and speed to market.
Key features of the Verifone e265:
- Meets latest PCI requirements - PCI PTS
4.0 approved
- Supports all device form factors and
compatible with Windows, Android, and iOS
- Features highly durable design
outfitted with scratch and impact-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass®
display lens
- Certified globally for EMV,
contactless/NFC, security and country specific approvals, and
accepts all major payment types
- Connects through Bluetooth (wireless)
and micro-USB for charging and OS updates (wired)
- Features replaceable, high-capacity
lithium ion battery that extends usage and minimizes business
interruptions
- Supports Verifone’s library of embedded
applications for speed to market
“Many of our channel clients, especially those serving merchants
in regions such as Southern Europe and Latin America, are
experiencing high demand for a cost-effective, feature-rich mPOS
solution,” said Robson. “This latest addition to Verifone’s
portfolio of solutions provides them with an affordable offering
for merchants of all sizes that demand flexibility, reliability and
longevity from their technology investments.”
