Finnish telecom-equipment maker Nokia on Friday said one of its
board of directors would step down after taking on a job at British
telecom provider Vodafone Group.
Nokia said Vivek Badrinath would resign from the board with
immediate effect following to his appointment as Chief Executive of
Vodafone's Africa, Middle East and Asia-Pacific region.
Nokia didn't announce a replacement, saying its board will now
consist of the remaining eight members for a term ending at the
close of Nokia's annual general meeting next year.
