Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has appointed Bruce Walker as vice president, homeland
security, civil, regulatory and international affairs. He
will report to Sid Ashworth,
corporate vice president, government relations.

"Bruce will be responsible for leading the team that builds and
sustains relationships with federal departments and civilian
agencies of the United States
government," said Ashworth. "In this important role, he will also
oversee the execution of key company initiatives while analyzing
policy issues and government-wide and agency-specific plans,
objectives and budgets."
Walker has over 35 years of experience in strategic planning,
contract negotiations and technology acquisition. He has held
several leadership roles in the design, development and management
of affordable IT solutions for federal, state and local
government.
After joining Northrop Grumman in 2003, Walker worked with the
newly-formed Department of Homeland Security and later served in
various strategic planning roles. In 2008, he joined
Government Relations and worked with the Federal Agencies
Integrated Customer team. This team's scope of work was
eventually expanded to include regulatory and international
activities. Prior to joining the company, Walker worked at Raytheon
Corporation where he led the high-performance computing
business.
Walker frequently speaks on a wide variety of homeland security
topics at the federal, state and local level. He earned his
bachelor's degree in chemistry and mathematics from American University in Washington, D.C.
