Marsh & McLennan Companies Names Ferdinand G. Jahnel Vice President, Treasurer

Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE:MMC), a global
professional services firm offering clients advice and solutions in
risk, strategy, and people, today announced that Ferdinand G.
Jahnel has been appointed Vice President, Treasurer, reporting to
Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance, Mark McGivney,
effective April 1, 2015.
In this role, Mr. Jahnel will be responsible for Global Cash
Management, Credit and Capital Markets activities, and Global
Pensions. Mr. Jahnel will also be responsible for managing the
Company’s global commercial banking relationships. He will be based
at Marsh & McLennan’s corporate headquarters in New York
City.
Mr. Jahnel joins Marsh & McLennan from Henry Schein, Inc.,
where he was Vice President, Treasurer, with responsibility for all
global treasury and risk management activities of the firm. Mr.
Jahnel joined Henry Schein in 2008 in this role.

Prior to joining Henry Schein, Mr. Jahnel served as the Vice
President, Assistant Treasurer for CA Technologies from 2005 to
2008. He also served in treasury and finance roles for Steelcase
International and the MAN Group in Europe and the United
States.
Mr. Jahnel earned a Masters of Business Administration from the
University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and an
undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University
of Augsburg, Germany. He is a Certified Treasury Professional
(CTP), and has served as a Board Director at the Association for
Financial Professionals (AFP) since 2012.
