ATLANTA, April 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Invesco today announced that three of its funds won 2015 Lipper Fund Awards, which recognize individual mutual funds that have outperformed peers based on risk-adjusted, consistent return based on investment results ending on November 30, 2014. 

Funds that won for specific time periods were the Invesco Asia Pacific Growth Fund, the Invesco European Small Company Fund and the Invesco Global Low Volatility Equity Yield Fund.

This marks the ninth consecutive year that funds managed by Invesco's International Growth Equity team have received one or more Lipper Fund Awards. The Invesco European Small Company Fund has been recognized six times since Lipper began issuing the awards in 2003.

Between the Invesco European Small Company Fund and the Invesco European Growth Fund, Invesco funds have won the Lipper Fund Award for the top-ranked European Region fund for the 10-year period for eight consecutive years.

The Lipper Fund Awards program highlights funds that have excelled in delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted performance, relative to peers. The awards are given to funds in 23 countries in Asia, Europe and North America. Lipper designates award-winning funds in most individual classifications for the three-, five- and 10-year periods and fund family awards covering three years.

Lipper Fund Awards are based on Lipper's Consistent Return calculation. Lipper scores for Consistent Return reflect funds' historical risk-adjusted returns relative to funds in the same Lipper classification and include each fund's expenses and reinvested distributions, but exclude sales charges. Consistent Return values are calculated with all eligible share classes for each eligible classification. The highest Lipper Leader for Consistent Return value within each eligible classification determines the fund classification winner over three, five or 10 years.
