SAO PAULO -(Dow Jones)- FTI Consulting Inc. (FCN), a global business advisory firm, nominated Brazil's former central bank president, Henrique Meirelles, among others, to stand for election as member of its board at the 2012 annual stockholders meeting. The list of candidates also includes Claudio Costamagna, who was chairman of the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) for Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Marc Holtzman, vice-chairman of Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays PLC (BCS), according to a statement from FTI Consulting. The nomination took place on March 28, after Meirelles was named chairman of Brazil's J&F, the holding that controls giant meatpacker JBS SA (JBSAY, JBSS3.BR). Meirelles's spokesperson confirmed his nomination.
