FleetCor Acquires Brazilian Toll- Payment Company Sem Parar

SÃ O PAULO—The Brazillian unit of U.S.-based FleetCor
Technologies, Inc. agreed Tuesday to acquire automatic-toll company
Serviç os e Tecnologia de Pagamentos S.A for 4.08 billion reais
($1.05 billion).
The acquisition will be made by the FleetCor Technologies unit
DBTrans Administradora de Meios de Pagamento Ltda.
Serviç os e Tecnologia de Pagamentos, which operates under the
brand Sem Parar, is controlled by six groups. Highway concession
operator CCR is the main shareholder, with a 34.24% stake in the
company. The other shareholders are CCBR Catel Construcoes do
Brasil Ltda; Capital International Private Equity Fund; Raizen
Energia SA; technology company GSMP; and Spain's Arteris.
