Everest Group Report Measures CSC Best in Class for Technology Solutions & Innovation and Market Success Categories

CSC (NYSE: CSC), a global leader in next-generation IT services and solutions, today announced that it has been recognized as a Leader and Star Performer by Everest Group in the report “Property and Casualty Insurance BPO — Service Provider Landscape with PEAK MatrixTM Assessment 2016.”

Developed by Everest Group, a global consulting and research firm, the PEAK (Performance, Experience, Ability, Knowledge) Matrix is based on a database of more than 300 Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance business process outsourcing (BPO) contracts signed by 18 service providers. CSC is one of five Insurance BPO service providers to achieve the highest tier “Leader” recognition. “Leaders” were classified as having the highest market success, as well as the strongest delivery capability.

In the same report, CSC was named a “Star Performer” for demonstrating strong movement over the prior year due in part to the Xchanging acquisition, which was completed last May. CSC was also among the service providers achieving best-in-class designation in the Technology Solutions & Innovation and Market Success categories.

“We are proud to be recognized as a ‘Leader’ in the P&C BPO space by Everest Group,” said Phil Ratcliff, vice president and general manager, CSC Global Insurance Industry. “This recognition is a testimony to CSC’s investments in insurance technology, which is backed by insurance industry knowledge that points to our unique ability to enable insurance providers to future-proof against the transformative and disruptive shifts underway in the industry. The acquisition of Xchanging broadened our footprint in commercial lines BPO and brought new and emerging technology, such as robotic process automation (RPA), which will impact and transform the future workforce across the entire insurance market.”
