Apigee® (NASDAQ:APIC), developer of an intelligent API platform for digital business, today announced that it is collaborating with Accenture (NYSE:ACN) to bring  Apigee Insights, an API-based, self-service predictive analytics solution, to clients and help them deliver an improved customer experience. By combining the ability of Apigee Insights to provide a single, seamless view of customer engagement across channels and predict future actions with Accenture Analytics’ broad industry knowledge and predictive analytics capabilities, clients will be better able to understand their customers and create personalized digital experiences across channels at a lower cost.

Apigee and Accenture Analytics are initially focused on the utilities industry with plans to bring their combined analytics capabilities to additional industries. The analytics collaboration is a part of the Apigee and Accenture global alliance that was established in 2013.
