online retailer Zappos teamed up to host an event on the campus of
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® to donate
UGG® slippers and celebrate a recent generous donation
from Zappos. Both companies who have a strong connection to
children's causes set out to bring a touch of comfort to the
patients of St. Jude.
This event commemorated the $100,000 raised for St. Jude through the
Zappos Gives to St. Jude Kids Program, which ran from
Dec. 23-31, 2015. Zappos
donated 10 percent of the retail price of each pair of
UGG® slippers sold through the online retailer's site
for a $100,000 donation to the
lifesaving mission of St. Jude. Thanks to the partnerships like
this, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment,
travel, housing or food, because all a family should worry about is
helping their child live.
