The Swiss franc continued its early weakness against most major currencies in Europe on Friday.

The franc fell to a fresh 17-month low of 1.5453 against the pound, 4-day low of 0.8956 against the U.S. dollar and more than 1-1/2-month low of 79.77 against the yen.
