PARIS--French car maker Renault (RNO.FR) Tuesday said it will
assemble 100,000 commercial vehicles for Italian rival Fiat (F.MI)
based on its Trafic model, at a pace of between 15,000 and 25,000
vans a year.
Renault will assemble the vans for Fiat at its existing plant in
Sandouville in Normandy starting in the second quarter of 2016, the
French car maker said.
The two companies had announced the agreement in July without
detailing the number of vehicles involved.
