University head men's basketball coach Herb Magee earned his 999th career win when the
PhilaU Rams defeated Caldwell
77-47 at home Saturday, Jan. 31.
Coach Magee, who was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Hall of
Fame in 2011, will go for career win 1,000 on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at home against Wilmington. The game will start at 7:30 p.m. in the Gallagher Athletic Center.
Magee, renowned as a coach, player and "shot doc" to top NBA
stars, has spent his entire playing and coaching career at DII
Philadelphia University. He is in his
48th season as head coach. With his next win, he will be only the
second all-NCAA men's basketball coach to reach 1,000 career wins.

Krzyzewski got win 1,000 just last Sunday, Jan. 25.
The Rams are 14-5 overall and 8-2 in the Central Atlantic
Collegiate Conference.
