With the appointment of Dennis Fu as Regional Vice President of
China/APAC, the Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC), an organization
driving global technologies for smartphone-centric car connectivity
solutions, today expanded and reinforced its commitment to car
connectivity in China. Fu is a mobile industry veteran with deep

new MirrorLink partnerships and deployments.
“The CCC is honored to have Dennis on the team,” said Alan
Ewing, President and Executive Director of the CCC. “In the past
year, the global MirrorLink footprint has undergone exponential
growth. As the most compelling car connectivity technology on the
market today, MirrorLink is a smart choice for Chinese automakers
and CE manufacturers looking to give their customers the ultimate
in responsible and enjoyable connected driving.”
Fu is currently the Asia-region vice president of the Mobility
Development Group (MDG) and also represents the Global
Certification Forum (GCF) in greater China. He has also served as a

greater China and Japan. Fu’s career in mobile began in 1993 in
various roles with Qualcomm in San Diego. He holds a Bachelor’s in
Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University; a

“I am thrilled to help the CCC achieve greater traction in
China,” said Fu. “China’s bustling CE, mobile app and automotive
markets are ready and willing to adopt next-generation technologies
that will give them a distinct advantage over their competitors. I
am excited to facilitate deployments fitting for China’s massive
scale.”
MirrorLink is the leading industry standard for car-smartphone
connectivity and is designed for maximum interoperability between a
wide range of smartphones and cars. MirrorLink is also the only OS-
and OEM-agnostic standard for car-smartphone connectivity and the
only vendor-neutral standard where no single entity has a
controlling stake. MirrorLink thus offers the quickest global route
to more responsible and enjoyable connected driving.
