Conley joins Infoblox from Zenoss, a leading provider of IT
monitoring and analytics software, where he was chief technology
officer and senior vice president of product development.
Previously, Conley worked for many years at Cisco, most recently as
chief technology officer of the Network Management Technology
Group. Conley has extensive experience in leading teams of
technical architects and engineers in developing IT solutions, as
well as a proven track record of identifying industry trends ahead
of the market.
Infoblox founder Stuart Bailey, previously the chief technology
officer, moves into a new role as chief scientist, focusing on
long-range research into the future of networking.
“I worked with Alan at Cisco and I personally recruited him to
Infoblox because I know first-hand what he can accomplish,” said
Jesper Andersen, president and chief executive officer of Infoblox.
“Infoblox now has a very deep bench of technology leadership, with
Scott Fulton running our product team, Sohail Parekh leading our
engineering team, Stu Bailey heading research, and Alan Conley
setting our technology strategy. Our customers can expect to see
bold innovation from Infoblox in the months and years ahead.”
“I’m eager to help Infoblox extend its leadership in DNS, DHCP
and IP address management (DDI) to new categories such as security,
cloud, and analytics,” said Conley. “The world of enterprise and
service provider networking has entered a period of rapid change,
and I believe Infoblox can help accelerate these
transformations.”
