Hospitals successfully migrating to Centriq
technology and achieving Stage 2 Meaningful Use attestation.
Healthland Inc., a leading provider of healthcare information
technology solutions to rural community and critical access
hospitals, announces that hospitals using its electronic health
records solutions have achieved notable progress in 2014.
Healthland CEO Chris Bauleke said, “The numbers are in, and
we’re proud to announce that our client hospitals have made real
progress. Most significantly, a major milestone was reached as more
than 150 hospitals have made the move to the Centriq solution with
another 50 hospitals in progress.” Bauleke said, “Hospitals are
seeing the results of our investment in migrations, support and the
accelerated development of Centriq’s financial and clinical
products.”
In addition, Bauleke announced that 99 percent of eligible
Healthland clients seeking attestation for Stage 2 Meaningful Use
successfully did so, “a critical achievement for these hospitals.”
To help hospitals achieve MU attestation in 2014, Healthland
successfully certified both its Classic legacy product and the
advanced Centriq solution to ensure that clients had options for
receiving MU stimulus funds.
Bauleke reported the impact of a consistent and scalable
approach to Centriq has been evidenced through the enthusiasm and
participation at Healthland’s “Connect 14” fall user conference in
Austin, Texas, with a record 500-plus attendees from across the
country, as well as positive feedback from hospital executives. For
example, Jon Smith, CFO of Caribou Memorial Hospital and Living
Center in Soda Springs, Idaho, said of his partnership with
Healthland, “The migration team was great to work with and a
responsive partner throughout the process. Healthland has supported
us every step of the way.”
Bauleke said that the partnership between Healthland and its
clients is a major reason for successful migrations to the Centriq
solution, along with significant achievement of hospitals’ MU
attestation goals.
He reported that a satisfying part of this relationship is the
end result – where EHR long-term benefits flow to client hospitals,
their communities and their patients.
