BERLIN--German prosecutors investigating the crash of
Germanwings Flight 9525 on Thursday said they are conducting a
number of searches in Duesseldorf and other cities to gather
evidence to determine the reasons behind the co-pilots alleged
intentional destruction of the plane that killed 150 people on
board.
In a statement issued Thursday afternoon, prosecutors said the
searches were aimed at "finding and securing personal documents in
order to obtain clues as to conceivable motives for the crime."
