2015
Attunity Ltd. (NASDAQ CM: ATTU), a leading provider of
information availability software solutions, announced today that
one of the largest computer technology corporations in the world
has selected Attunity Visibility to optimize the performance of its
data warehousing environment. The solution is also designed to
enable the company to provide governance and auditability for its
business intelligence as part of an overall 'BI on BI'
initiative.
"It is a strong testament to the quality and demand for Attunity
solutions when one of the largest providers of technology and
software solutions in the world selects and trusts us to improve
its business," said Shimon
Alon, Chairman and CEO at
Attunity. "Attunity Visibility optimizes IT environments,
thereby enabling companies to meet today's complex Big Data needs.
The optimization is accomplished by addressing the need to better
understand data usage and optimize data warehouse workloads, which
have become key factors in increased efficiency."
Attunity Visibility helps enterprises address the rapid growth
in data with confidence, proactively manage the performance of BI
and data warehouse systems, and realize the tremendous economies of
Hadoop. The solution enables companies to balance the right
workload on the right system, revealing exactly how much and where
data is used or not used, show how effective BI is for the users,
and identify the root cause of database performance issues that are
impacting the business. By analyzing workloads on Big Data systems,
Attunity Visibility can show a company how
to optimize its compute and storage across a wide range
of market-leading platforms, including Oracle, Teradata, IBM DB2,
IBM PureData (formerly known as IBM Netezza), and Hadoop.
The enterprise licensing agreement includes license and
maintenance payments of $400,000.
