another busy holiday travel weekend. The Fourth of July travel period, which runs from
July 1 through July 5, is expected to
bring more than 900 thousand travelers to the Airport, an increase
of 2.1% from the previous year.
The Airport is projecting 18.4 million customers will fly
through the Airport during the whole summer travel period from June
through August 31, an expected 2.4%
increase over last year. To ensure a safe a stress-free experience,
DFW recommends that travelers arrive at least two hours before
their departure time, explore airport parking options, and take
advantage of programs such as TSA Pre✓® or Global Entry.
