SINGAPORE--Wilmar International Ltd. (F34.SG) on Tuesday said Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) has raised its stake in the Singapore-listed commodities supplier.

Archer Daniels Midland bought 22% of the total Wilmar shares sold on Tuesday, and will separately announce details, Wilmar said in response to a query from Singapore Exchange on unusual trading volume in its shares.

Wilmar didn't say how many shares Archer Daniels Midland bought, nor did it say how much of Wilmar it now owns. Wilmar's shares closed 8.9% higher at S$3.17 on Tuesday.
