LONDON--Advertising company WPP PLC (WPP.LN) said Tuesday that
its marketing communications unit, JWT, has agreed to acquire Lemon
Sky, a creative digital marketing company in Poland, for an
undisclosed sum.
MAIN FACTS:
-Founded in 2000 and employing around 70 people in Warsaw and
Wroclaw, Lemon Sky specialises in producing a range of digital
advertising and campaign services.
-Following the deal, Lemon Sky will join JWT Warsaw to create a
integrated communications agency for Poland.
-Lemon Sky's unaudited revenue for the year ended Dec. 31 2013,
were 2.7 million euros with gross assets of EUR2.4 million as at
the same date.
-Shares of WPP on Monday closed at 1349 pence, valuing the
company at GBP18.18 billion pounds .
