Austria's Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI.VI) is considering acquiring parts of Citibank Romania which Citigroup Inc. (C) has put up for sale, Der Standard reports in a prerelease of an article to be published Friday.

Raiffeisen is interested in the unit's private and corporate business, the newspaper says without naming its sources.

A Raiffeisen spokeswoman declined to comment on the report.
