The popular Mexican restaurant brand plants its flag in flavor with the first-ever Flavor Flags promotion

Qdoba Mexican Eats®, the fast-casual restaurant known for its 3-Cheese Queso and free guacamole on entrées, is planting its flag in flavor and expanding in the Detroit area with three new restaurants in Troy, Belleville, and Royal Oak.

The first new restaurant opened its doors in Troy on March 14 at 301 E. Big Beaver Road, followed by a second new Qdoba in Belleville at 10889 Belleville Road on March 16. When the third restaurant opens in Royal Oak on March 26 at 30754 Woodward Ave., Qdoba will have 60 locations in the state of Michigan, and 30 in the Detroit area.

What are Flavor Flags?

To celebrate the restaurant opening in Royal Oak, Qdoba is planting 100 Flavor Flags throughout the local community. From March 19-26, look for a flag bearing the Qdoba logo and #FlavorFlags, and bring it to the new Royal Oak restaurant on opening day, March 26, beginning at 10:30 a.m., to win a mouthwatering prize (one flag/prize per person). The first 13 people to bring a flag will win Free Burritos for a Year (one free Qdoba entrée per week for 52 weeks). Follow #FlavorFlags on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for more information and clues on flag location and see Qdoba.com/legal for complete rules and eligibility.

At the new restaurants, Qdoba fans will notice a fresh look, with a distinct new color scheme and all-new furnishings. All three restaurants will offer menu favorites that fans know and love, like Qdoba’s mouthwatering burritos, line of bold Knockout Tacos®, and 3-Cheese Queso to top off any menu item. In addition to bold flavors that ignite the taste buds, each restaurant will continue the Qdoba tradition of offering free guacamole on each entrée at no extra cost.

“We’re excited to introduce the Flavor Flags promotion to Detroit and invite residents to participate in this unique grand opening celebration,” said Jessica Salrin, Senior Brand Manager of New Markets. “With our welcoming environment and bold, flavor-packed menu items, we’re confident that our customers will love the new restaurants.”
