Carnegie Learning, Inc., a subsidiary of Apollo Education Group,
Inc. (NASDAQ: APOL), announced today that its sixth
annual Teaching Excellence Institute (TEI) will take place July
7–10, 2015, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Mathematics educators from
across the United States will join the Carnegie Learning team for
professional development designed to deepen their understanding of
mathematics, offer new strategies to use in the classroom and help
them to improve student outcomes.
TEI is a rigorous four-day professional learning experience for
K-12 mathematics educators and leaders designed to provide
participants with relevant math content knowledge, research-based
best practices, and a network of colleagues from across the
country.
“Our Professional Development Team is one of the best in the
educational field for mathematics,” says Kasey Bratcher, Director
of Educational Services for Carnegie Learning. “Our team provides
the opportunity for mathematics educators and leaders across the
country from small rural schools to large urban schools to
participate in webinars, workshops, conferences, TEI and other
professional development activities throughout the year.”
During July’s TEI, several keynote speakers will share their
expertise, including Sandy Bartle Finocchi, Senior Academic Officer
for Carnegie Learning, Inc.; Matt Vaudrey, Educational Technology
Coach for Bonita Unified School District; and John Antonetti,
Co-Founder of Colleagues on Call. The speaking sessions will be
live streamed and available to educators across the country. To
