Or over in Kingman.....you'd fit right in there.

It seemed like your Flagstaff question came out of the blue, but then I remembered a post mentioning some list of who all the ACRL critics actually are. So I assume this "list" says I live in Flagstaff?

Maybe we should talk about Yuma. I've been to a few bars down there too. Unfortunately.

Nope I don't. I just asked about flagstaff

Do you?

So how do I know you live in flagstaff?

I doubt I said that. I just searched my posts for the last 10 years, only mention of Flagstaff I ever posted was a mining scam involving volcanic ash.

Go way back in your posts, somewhere you mentioned you lived in flagstaff Arizona. I'm not a mind reader.

Not sure which one that is. Used to be a bar called Collins Pub in Flagg that was like that...20 yrs ago. I don't go to bars much anymore.
๐Ÿ‘๏ธ0

Was just through there about a month ago. Had lunch at the bar that has American money stapled all over.

Its your fault for speaking Factualize the share price fell today. That nation of Factual harbours share price terrorists. If they don't pay their dues they should be invaded! Communists!

Usually ~ 1 opt, but I've seen 2 and even 3 opt used in some deposits.

That's kinda what I figured. Nothing that ACRL needs to worry about.

But until we see assays, it's a moot point.
๐Ÿ‘๏ธ0
gitreal gitreal 1 day ago
Well, I'd invite him over for a beer sometime....next time he passes through Flagstaff. Hot afternoons, high altitude, he needs to be careful about sunburn and dehydration. Some good microbreweries in Flagg........

He is saying (in absence of THE LIST)that he knows who you be. Atacama hard-core ( not drill cores, those would be blank) are thick as a brick. You could park s lorry between their ears and not scratch the ear lobes. Nothing in the boot except reams of Atacama share certs worth not much. The expo seems to have hurt the share price. That is a testament to their ambitions

Someone, somewhere, is on their knees praying for geologic knowledge so they can accuse both of you for being uneducated, unemployable hacks living in their parents basement. When you slam them with facts all that is left them is personal attacks or sarcastic thank youโ€™s. I'm sure the college diploma world reknown highly respected infallible geologic and mining expert is scratching his head trying to interpret your last few posts.

Resource estimations will use a top-cut to minimize the effect (weighting) of localized very high-grades. Usually ~ 1 opt, but I've seen 2 and even 3 opt used in some deposits. Depends on the statistics.

The old adage when dealing with super high-grade systems is to drill for location & mine for grade.

I visited an UG gold mine in Aus where drill holes commonly returned 1,000-3,000 g/t Au over 20-30cm. They'd map out the position and extents of the high grade vein with drilling just to plan the drifts for mining. They didn't bother doing a resource determination from the drilling (other than for a rough idea of what a stope might yield), but just calculated the grade from the tons mined and ounces that came out in the plant after the fact. They didn't bother with reconciliations (of ounces estimated from drilling vs ounces produced), standard practice in mining.

These super high-grade freaks of nature tend to be small though. Like THE TANNAHILL!!!

I wonder how that chunk of core made it into someone's "collection", unsplit and unassayed? Of course, an assay on something like that is almost pointless.....that section of core appears to be 20 or 30% gold (or more?), and what would an assay benefit you? Don't block models discard anomalously high grade results?
๐Ÿ‘๏ธ0
Jack_Herer Jack_Herer 1 day ago
From someone's collection. Homestake had a few small jewelry box stopes, but very localized. But you'd expect that in a 40+ Moz mine.

I recall going down the Red Lake mine where Goldcorp got their start with a super high-grade discovery deep under the old mine. It was averaging around 3opt over 10ft. Very impressive to see that in the walls and back of the drift I visited. No free samples... Goldcorp was printing $$ back then, which led them to multiple acquisitions growing the company to become one of the largest gold miners, eventually bought out by Newmont of course...

Yeah, without a proper news release signed off by one of their eminent QP's, one must question if they conducted any drilling at THE TANNAHILL!!!

Grade is king.
๐Ÿ‘๏ธ0
gitreal gitreal 1 day ago
Wow, is that your chunk of Homestake core? Surely not......!

That is not typical for Homestake ore, which was more in the range of quarter oz/ton, at best. Some of the Tertiary veining cross-cutting the Precambrian cummingtonite schist could be anomalously high grade but was pretty hit and miss.

Until I see something from one of their emminent geos saying they actually drilled, I am skeptical.
๐Ÿ‘๏ธ0
Jack_Herer Jack_Herer 1 day ago
Yeah, if I was going to steal someone else's core pics I'd use something a bit more exciting looking. However, the low-info Atascama pumpers wouldn't recognize a hot drill hole if it smacked them in the face...

From the Homestake Mine...

why include it in their twitter post?

Wouldn't be the first time that a shady "exploration" company used someone else's mine/core/assays to promote their own company. It would have been so simple to add a caption saying it was a representative box of core from DH-X, from interval xxx-xxx, drilled across such and such structure or unit, showing typical "mineralization", etc. But no, all we get is a picture of what appears to be pretty featureless/boring core that could be from just about anywhere. If a 6-inch altered zone is the most exciting thing in a whole box of core (unassayed, since the core is not split)....maybe not post a picture of it at all?

why spend limited funds flogging a dead horseโ€ฆ

To sell a few shares.

All you investors, sit down and chill. This will not be an overnight deal. It's been 6 years now, lucky if the next 2 years would be beneficial. Their work has just started. Go play for a few years and come back. Maybe they will have some news on some grades

Jack_Herer Jack_Herer 1 day ago
You're most welcome, Jacinda...
Pay attention, maybe you'll learn something.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ0
Jack_Herer Jack_Herer 1 day ago
I suspect it is, otherwise why include it in their twitter post? The geology looks right (from what Iโ€™ve seen in that area). Notable that they didnโ€™t even sample the core; why bother? And if this is the best they got in the alleged Tannahill step-out drilling, presumably a test of an IP target along strike, then theyโ€™ve killed it in that direction.
No big structure, no significant alteration, in other words a dud.

Doesnโ€™t eliminate the possibility of something better below the main prospect, but deeper drilling costs $$, and THE TANNAHILL!!! is a dog to begin with (Tiny! Modest grade, except for one or two holes), so why spend limited funds flogging a dead horseโ€ฆ

All IMHO, of course...

That picture of a corebox full of core (with the section of porphyry and a 6" altered zone).......is it even core from ACRL? That X post doesn't say.

Why is it so hard for these guys to issue some kind of professional PR, signed off by their QP? How can anybody take them seriously?
๐Ÿ‘๏ธ0
Jack_Herer Jack_Herer 1 day ago
You really don't have a clue when it come to geology, do you Jacinta? Clearly demonstrated by your investment in this garbage. Just look at the core...!
Might I suggest a couple night classes in economic geology and mineral exploration, plus one or two junior exploration investing blogs? Might smarten you up.

P.S. I'm not a fan of cheap scotch, but a couple affordable options I like include Ardbeg's 10 year, or if you're into blends Dewar's 15 year is nice. Even JW Green Label is quite decent for the price...

The draw box was for a bottle of cheap scotch. No hats, no pens, no Timbits. But one way to coerce people to come by your booth and drop off a business card. 'Oh yeah, we're having productive talks with many, many folks...'

See the two 6-inch pieces of core on their table and the 6 inch wide altered zone (just above the porphyry dike) in otherwise boring as f*ck (unaltered) mafic volcanics in the core pic? Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you THE TANNAHILL!!!, at least as tested on strike a little distance away from the main prospect.
Gonna be tough to get many tonnes from a 6-inch wide mineralized zone, and the utter lack of significant alteration or structure in the volcanics is proof positive there's nothing of substance there. But I knew that 20+ years ago when I briefly worked in this district. Don't need assays to conclude that; just look at the rocks, man...

All IMHO, of course.
