LITHIUM DRILLING PROGRAM COMMENCES AT EAST VALLÉE
June 3, 2024
TORONTO, June 03, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Consolidated Lithium Metals Inc. (TSXV: CLM | OTCQB: JORFF | FRA: Z36) (“CLM” or the “Company“) is pleased to announce that the Phase I 2024 drilling program has commenced on the Company’s East Vallée Lithium Project, located in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt approximately 30 km northwest of Val-d’Or, Quebec (see Figure 1). The East Vallée Project is located immediate east and adjacent to the Company’s Vallée JV Project (75% CLM and 25% Sayona Mining) and only 1,000 m east and along strike of Sayona’s North American Lithium (“NAL”) Mine, the largest operating lithium mining facility in North America.
On February 14, 2024, the Company announced that the Vallée JV partners had successfully traced the NAL Mine Pegmatite swarm from the Sayona NAL Mine Property across the entire Vallée JV Property right to the western boundary of the Company's East Vallée Project (see CLM News which is available under the Company’s SEDAR+ profile at www.sedarplus.ca). The Core Pegmatite Dyke, the key dyke within the NAL Mine Swarm, has been traced over a 4.2 km strike length and remains open for expansion along strike to the east on CLM’s 100%-owned East Vallée Project. The Company believes that the Core Pegmatite and adjacent spodumene-bearing dykes likely continue onto East Vallée. The East Vallée Project overlies an additional 5 km of the highly prospective Vallée Lithium Trend that has never been drill-tested for lithium (see Figure 2). Several other parallel lithium-bearing dykes have also been traced eastward to the East Vallée Property boundary.
The Phase I program will consist of 12 drill holes totaling approximately 2,400 m and will test the Core Pegmatite and flanking pegmatites along drill fences spaced 400 metres apart starting at the western property boundary. All necessary permits required to commence the program have been received which include authorization for supplemental drill sites which will allow the Company to immediately follow-up successful drill holes at tighter hole spacings. Forage Lamontagne Fortier has been contracted to provide drilling services.

Sayona Mining Limited (ASX:SYA) Drilling of High Priority Targets Commences at Tabba Tabba
Brisbane, May 23, 2024 - (ABN Newswire) - North American lithium producer Sayona Mining Limited (ASX:SYA) (FRA:DML) (OTCMKTS:SYAXF) has commenced RC drilling (Figure 1*) at its wholly owned Tabba Tabba Lithium Project, E45/2364 in Western Australia where previous air core drilling identified high potential pegmatite systems.
A recently completed gravity survey has helped focus deeper RC drilling over two areas along a 7.5km prospective corridor (Figure 2*). The northern area is located immediately south of the historic Tabba Tabba t antalum mine, where recent exploration by Wildcat Resources has identified encouraging lithium mineralisation including the Leia and Luke Pegmatites.
The initial 2,000+ metre RC drilling program consists of 14 holes with nine located in the North Area immediately south of Wildcat Resources tenements and a further five holes located at the Roadside Prospect approximately 4.5km south and along strike. Further drilling will be conducted throughout 2024 as geological information is built up over the area, largely under thin colluvial cover.
Sayona has secured a co-funding grant for drilling at Tabba Tabba under Round 29 of the Western Australian Governments Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS). The grant of up to $180,000 will help fund i nnovative exploration drilling in the search for flat lying spodumene pegmatite systems within the Tabba Tabba lease.
Sayona's Director and Interim CEO, James Brown commented, "We are excited to have commenced RC drilling over the highly prospect ive Tabba Tabba lease which has known lithium mineralisation in close proximity and along strike.
"Previous soil sampling and air core drilling identified areas of anomalous geochemistry that have been confirmed to also contain gravity features o f significance. We now intend to test these targets with RC and possibly diamond drilling as supported by results.
"We are highly committed to our wholly owned Western Australian lithium assets and intend to continue an active exploration program over the 2024 field season."
The recently completed gravity survey, covering a 7km x 2km area has identified prospective trends and areas of potential gabbro host units and structural settings which facilitate emplacement of the targeted north s triking spodumene pegmatite mineralisation.
In the north drill area, targets are sited along the southern extension to the Tabba Tabba mine stratigraphy and mineralisation identified by Wildcat. A western target zone comprises a gravity feature u nder cover which links to outcropping gabbro 2km to the south. An eastern gravity feature, coincident with a zone of alteration identified in air core drilling, is also being targeted in the current and follow up drilling.
At the Roadside prospec t five 5 deeper RC drill holes to 160m+ depth are planned, following up narrow pegmatites intersected in shallow air core drilling margined by more extensive geochemical anomalism. Gravity data in this area outlines a discrete weak gravity feature wh ich may represent a medium density intrusive, or gabbro intercalated with other, less dense rocks. Pegmatite hosted within gabbro has been observed at surface within the prosect.
Geologically, the planned exploration is benefiting from an enhance d understanding of pegmatite occurrences, including flat lying pegmatite hosted by gabbro such as the South Pegmatite Zone at Moblan, Quebec which was discovered by Sayona in 2022.
Flat lying pegmatite systems often have limited surface expressio n and require a systematic exploration approach to best focus drilling into the most prospective target areas. Sayona is advancing this process, being guided by gravity data, mapping, rock and soil sampling and drill information.

SYAXF - news - Sayona Mining Limited (ASX:SYA) New High-Grade Zones Discovered at North American Lithium
Brisbane, May 13, 2024 - (ABN Newswire) - North American lithium producer Sayona Mining Limited (ASX:SYA) (FRA:DML) (OTCMKTS:SYAXF), announces the discovery and expansion of new mineralised zones at the Company's North American Lithium (NAL) operation (SYA 75%; Piedmont Lithium 25%) in Quebe c, Canada.
The newly discovered zones are poised to become a focal point for NAL's assessment of future mining options. Initial assessments indicate the presence of high-grade lithium mineralisation outside the MRE pit shell which may represent a substantial addition to NAL's resource portfolio and may contribute to extending NAL's life of mine.
The 2023 drill program has successfully highlighted the potential of the NAL mine located in Quebec's highly prospective Abitibi-Temiscamingue r egion and confirm the possible conversion of Inferred resources to Measured and Indicated categories within the MRE pit shell. The program aimed to increase and secure the resource base of the operation while targeting a high reserve conversion rate. A selection of assays results are displayed in Table 1* and Figure 1*.
Sayona's Interim CEO, James Brown commented, "We are very excited by these new discoveries at North American Lithium which highlights the potential of this asset with high-gr ade mineralisation defined to the north-west, north-east, south-east and below the existing MRE. The team at NAL will now be working to update the Mineral Resource incorporating these significant results. We look forward to continue testing the miner alisation at NAL with further drilling underway."
North-East Area- New Discovery
Drillholes LAN-23-069 and LAN-23-070 revealed a newly discovered zone at the NE of the currently known mineral resources. Located approximately 300m NE of the SE edge of the ultimate MRE pit shell, the zone strikes NW-SE and show a potential lateral continuity of 450m.
Results include 17.00m @pmiller-069, and 14.40m @pmiller-070. T he mineralisation takes the form of substantially thick undeformed pegmatite dykes hosting 15-25% spodumene. The true dip of the dykes cannot be determined at the moment and further drilling is required to identify continuity of the dykes towards the surface.
In the North-East Area, results from 21 new drillholes totalling 7,029 metres were available for this release. Intervals above 0.6% Li2O over 2.0m are illustrated in Table 2a*.
North-West Area - New Pegmatites
Drillholes LAN-23 -094, LAN-23-095, LAN-23-102, LAN-23-139, LAN-23-139-W1 and LAN-23-149 confirm the expansion potential of the newly discovered North-West Zone1 at the NW of the currently known mineral resource. This new high-grade mineralisation is located along the north-west margin of the NAL deposit, outside the current ultimate pit shell model.
While initial discovery drill holes reported values of 22.20m @pmiller-032, as published in N ovember 2023, additional drill holes confirmed the high potential of the newly discovered zone, reporting values of 32.88m @pmiller-094 and 19.35m @ 1.63% Li2O from 346.72m, followed by 21.57m @pmiller-095.
In the North-West Extension area, results from 14 new drillholes totalling 4,756 metres were available for this release. Intervals above 0.6% Li2O over 2.0m are illustrated in Table 2b*.
South-East Extension - N ew Pegmatites
Drillholes LAN-23-089, LAN-23-106a and LAN-23-120 confirm the extension of the main dykes to the SE of the currently known mineral resource. Several near-surface pegmatite dykes were identified in the area, with values up to 8.70m @pmiller-089; 9.70m @pmiller-106a, and 16.90m @pmiller-120. Further drilling is necessary to define these dykes to the SE.
These results show the potential for an extension of the pit shell to the SE.
In the South-East Extension area, results from 24 new drillholes totalling 7,002 metres were available for this release. Intervals above 0.6% Li2O over 2.0m are illustrated in Table 2c*.
Resources Area (Central) - Potential Upgrade and/or Conversion
Numerous new drilling results confirm the potential for upgrading and converting Inferred resources into the Measured and/or Indicated cate gories within the MRE pit shell. Results confirm the continuity of the mineralisation, and an update of the resources estimate should be completed in the near future.
This conversion drilling is anticipated to positively contribute to ore reserve s at the NAL operation.
In the Resources Area (Central), results from 32 new drillholes totalling 7,817 metres were available for this release. Intervals above 0.6% Li2O over 2.0m are illustrated in Table 2d*.
NAL comprises a contiguous group of 42 mineral titles (41 claims, one mining lease) spanning 1,493 hectares, situated near La Corne township in Quebec's Abitibi-Temiscamingue region. NAL also owns 25% interest in the adjacent Vallee lithium claims. The operation has a lithium mine and concentrator, with production of spodumene concentrate having recommenced in March 2023. The project lies 60 kilometres north of the city of Val d'Or, a major mining service centre, with access to road and rail infrastructure together with skille d labour.

Nothing with the company's future outlook has changed. The market is bearish on lithium and EV right now but that doesn't stop the investment that has already occurred in the sector. This year will bring many new EV's from manufacturers that previously had none, this will bring the EV to the conventional car sales model, that most manufacturers use and most purchasers are more comfortable with. I like it but, not everyone is a fan of the "salesmanless", DIY, atmosphere that goes along with the purchase of a Tesla. IMO 24 is another bottom to take advantage of, I have taken advantage of every bottom that Sayona has had to offer, so far so good.

Drilling at Tabba Tabba Finds High Potential Pegmatites
https://clients3.weblink.com.au/pdf/SYA/02794463.pdf
DRILLING AT TABBA TABBA FINDS HIGH POTENTIAL PEGMATITES
? Maiden drilling identifies high potential lithium, caesium, tantalum (LCT) type pegmatites at
Sayona’s 100% owned Tabba Tabba Lithium Project, Western Australia
? Ground gravity surveying has commenced, including over the southern extensions to the
Tabba Tabba tantalum mine and at the Roadside Prospect to focus future deep drilling
? Deep drilling targets along the 7.5km strike length Tabba Tabba lithium corridor to be the
focus for 2024 exploration, in potential boost for Sayona’s global lithium base
North American lithium producer Sayona Mining Limited (“Sayona”) (ASX:SYA; OTCQB:SYAXF)
announces that maiden exploration drilling at its wholly owned Tabba Tabba Lithium Project, E45/2364
identified high potential pegmatite systems containing caesium and tantalum. Based on these results,
Sayona plans to conduct deeper drilling along a 7.5km prospective corridor located immediately south
of the historic Tabba Tabba tantalum mine, where recent exploration by Wildcat Resources has identified
encouraging lithium mineralisation.
The 77-hole air core drilling program for 1,473m focused on two key areas, with results in the northern
drill area identifying a zone of alteration, interpreted as the targeted southern extension to the Tabba
Tabba mine stratigraphy. The southern drill area, sited around the Roadside and Turley prospects,
intersected narrow pegmatite within broader zones of elevated tantalum and caesium geochemistry,
typical of a LCT (lithium-caesium-tantalum) type pegmatite system.
An orientation ground gravity geophysical survey has commenced to identify the prospective gabbro –
sediment contact for targeting, as this is an important control for lithium mineralisation within the area.
The gravity survey covers a 7km x 2km area and comprises approximately 2,500 stations arranged on
160m x 40m traverses, infilled to 80x20m over the northern and southern drill areas. The survey is
anticipated to take three weeks to complete.
Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling is planned after the completion of the gravity survey to test existing and
new gravity defined targets within fresh rock at depth. Some earthworks have been completed in support
of the planned drilling program.
The air core drill results support the ramp up of West Australian exploration activities at Tabba Tabba
and Sayona’s other 100% owned lithium and gold projects in the region.

"It is clear that very few lithium expansion projects make economic sense at current market prices, and the longer prices remain near these levels, the greater the impact on future supply shortages. As we saw in 2022, this will increase the likelihood of a rapid increase in future lithium prices, although the complexity of the global battery supply chain makes both the timing and extent of such an increase difficult to predict," stated Arcadium Lithium CEO Paul Graves in the aforementioned report.
