SEC Enforcement's Former Deputy Chief Accountant Jason Flemmons
Joins FTI Consulting, Inc. as Senior Managing Director in Its
Forensic and Litigation Consulting Practice

enterprise value, today announced that Jason Flemmons, former Deputy Chief Accountant
of the Division of Enforcement of the U.S. Securities and Exchange
Commission (SEC), has joined the Forensic and Litigation Consulting
practice of FTI Consulting as a Senior Managing Director, where he
will provide forensic accounting, advisory and dispute consulting
services to legal and corporate clients of FTI Consulting. He joins
a global platform of multidisciplinary experts who support clients
facing high-stakes litigation, arbitration and compliance
investigations, and regulatory scrutiny.
Mr. Flemmons joins FTI Consulting after 12 years of service at
the Washington, D.C., headquarters of the SEC, where he
supervised and performed numerous financial and accounting fraud
investigations involving SEC registrants, senior executives,
external auditors and other third parties. He has advised on a wide
range of complex accounting and reporting areas such as revenue
recognition, vendor rebates, asset valuation and consolidation
accounting. Mr. Flemmons also co-headed the Division of
Enforcement's Cross Border Working Group. In this capacity, he
oversaw and consulted on numerous investigations involving issuers
and auditors located in China and
other foreign jurisdictions.
Before joining the Commission, Mr. Flemmons was a litigation
consultant in the Financial Advisory Services practice at
PricewaterhouseCoopers. In addition to managing forensic accounting
investigations, he identified and evaluated potential purchase
price dispute claims and performed investigations involving asset
misappropriation and money laundering. Mr. Flemmons began his
career as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers in both
Washington, D.C., and Madrid, Spain.

Mr. Flemmons is a frequent speaker at industry conferences

Flemmons is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified
fraud examiner and is certified in financial forensics. He also was
appointed to serve on the American Institute of CPA's Fraud Task
Force in October 2012.
