Mazda's total domestic production volume in January 2012 increased 1.0% compared to January 2011 due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda's overseas production volume in January 2012 decreased 27.7% compared to January 2011, reflecting decreased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 4.9% (down 1.1 points year-on-year), with a 3.0% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.2 points year-on-year) and a 4.2% total market share (down 0.7 points year-on-year).
