Turkcell Returns to Turkish Football’s Super League with Sponsorship Deal

Turkcell (NYSE:TKC)(BIST:TCELL) and the Turkish Football
Federation have announced that Turkcell will be the communication
sponsor of “Spor Toto Super Lig”, Turkey’s top football league, in
2015-2016. Turkcell will also be the main sponsor of the Turkish
Cup in 2015-2016, which will take the name “Turkcell Super
Cup”.

Turkcell’s contribution to Turkish football: 140 million USD
over 13 years
For the past 13 years, Turkcell has supported Turkish football
continuously and in a number of different ways. In 2002, Turkcell
became the sponsor of the Turkish National Team. Between 2003-2010,
it supported teams from smaller towns through sponsorships. Between
2005-2010, it was the main sponsor of the Turkish Super League.
Since 2010, Turkcell has been the main sponsor of Turkish Football
Federation.
Turkcell’s contribution to Turkish football over the course of
the past 13 years amounts to approximately 140 million USD.
