ConocoPhillips (COP) said that its Bayway oil refinery in
Linden, N.J., is operating at reduced rates after a furnace fire
broke out at its crude unit June 1.
Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSA, RDSA.LN) has restored power and
steam supplies to its oil refinery in Deer Park, Texas, and units
are returning to normal operations, a spokeswoman said June 1.
Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) said June 1 that there was an upset at
a gasoil hydrotreater located at its refinery in Wilmington,
Calif., early that morning but it did not disrupt production.
BP PLC (BP) reported excess emissions from fluid catalytic
cracker No. 3 located at its oil refinery in Texas City, Texas,
according to a filing with state environmental regulators on June
1.

Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) said May 31 its oil refinery in Texas
City, Texas, is returning to planned operating rates after being
hit by a power outage late last week.
The start-up of a processing unit at PBF Energy's oil refinery
in Delaware City, Del., was interrupted on May 28 when a release of
hydrogen sulfide went through a flare stack during the process,
according to a filing to the U.S. National Response Center. The
190,000-barrel-a-day plant remains on track to start-up in the
2nd-quarter.
Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) on May 29 said a process unit restart at
it's Joliet refinery in Illinois caused a release of nitrogen
dioxide to a flare stack. The company reported the event to the
U.S. National Response Center. Traders doing business in the region
said the plant's FCCU had been down for repairs.
Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) on May 29 reported an unplanned flaring
event at its refinery in Torrance, Calif. The reason for the
flaring wasn't specified in a report to Calif. environmental
regulators.
ConocoPhillips on May 27 restarted a compressor at unspecified
equipment at its refinery in Sweeny, Texas. The restart caused a
period of flaring, a filing to environmental regulators said.
Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) restarted units at its 76,000
barrel-a-day refinery Texas City, Texas, on May 27 after an early
morning power outage.
Marathon Oil Corp. restarted units at its 206,000 barrel-a-day
refinery in Robinson, Ill., on May 26 after a power outage the
previous night.
Total SA (TOT, FP.FR) said a brief power failure forced it to
shut down the coker at its 232,000 barrel-a-day refinery in Port
Arthur, Texas, on May 26.
BP PLC restarted the crude distillation unit, coker, reformer
and "other units" after a maintenance turnaround at its 225,000
barrel-a-day Cherry Point refinery in Washington state, according
to a filing with state regulators made public on May 26.
