ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS.

The record date for Federated Investors, Inc.’s (NYSE: FII) Q4 2015 dividend will change from the previously announced February 5, 2016 to February 8, 2016. The declared dividend of $0.25 per share is payable on February 12, 2016, which is the same payable date as previously announced, to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 8, 2016.
