OVERSEAS REGULATORY ANNOUNCEMENT

APPROVAL BY THE STATE-OWNED ASSETS SUPERVISION AND
ADMINISTRATION COMMISSION OF THE STATE COUNCIL

ON THE NON-PUBLIC ISSUE OF A SHARES

 

 

 

China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited (the “Company”) recently has received the “Approval on Relevant Matters for the Non-Public Issue of A Shares by China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited” (Guo Zi Chan Quan [2015]No. 354) issued by the State- owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, approving in principle the plan for non-public issue of A shares by the Company. The number of A shares to be issued is not more than 2,329,192,546.

 

The plan for non-public issue of A shares by the Company is subject to consideration and approval by the shareholders’ meeting of the Company, and will be implemented upon obtaining the approval by China Securities Regulatory Commission and other securities regulatory authorities. The Company will actively promote relevant work and perform its information disclosure obligation in due course.
