Chesapeake Energy Corp. (CHK) didn't provide adequate notice of
plans to redeem $1.3 billion of notes, an appeals court ruled
Tuesday, sending the case back to a lower court, Reuters reported
Tuesday on its website.

with the notes' trustee Bank of New York Mellon Corp. (BK), with
the ruling, and returned the case to a district court for further
proceedings.
