Teleflex to Present at the 1st Annual Congress of the European Society for Vascular Medicine (ESVM)
May 08 2015 - 9:00AM
Business Wire
Teleflex Incorporated (NYSE: TFX), a leading global provider of
medical devices for critical care, urology and surgery, will
showcase its Arrow® brand interventional radiology portfolio at the
1st Annual Congress of the European Society for Vascular Medicine
(ESVM) to be held in Potsdam, Germany on May 10 - 12, 2015.
During the event, Teleflex will highlight both the Arrow®
GPSCath® Balloon Dilatation Catheter featuring innovative
VisioValve™ technology over a 0.014 guidewire - now for
below-the-knee interventions, and the Super Arrow-Flex® Sheath
Introducer.
The Arrow® GPSCath® Catheter is a specialty two-in-one device
that is indicated for percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA)
in the peripheral vasculature, including iliac, femoral, popliteal,
infrapopliteal and renal arteries allowing the physician to conduct
angioplasty and inject fluid (targeted angiogram specifically at
lesion site) while maintaining catheter and guidewire position.
Below-the-knee interventions can be complex undertakings, requiring
multiple devices, numerous procedural steps and significant
procedural time. The Arrow® GPSCath® Catheter now offers a solution
by combining multiple required features into one device.
The Super Arrow-Flex® Sheath Introducer gives complete vascular
access, thanks to its wire-reinforced design and construction. From
easy insertion and handling to the highly visible radiopaque tip,
the Super Arrow-Flex® Sheath Introducer is designed to deliver
optimal performance from start to finish. With a wide range of
sheath sizes and lengths, the Super Arrow-Flex® Sheath Introducer
gives the physician flexibility of choice for multiple vascular
applications.
