AURORA, Ohio, March 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ellis Yan
today issued the following statement in response to the lawsuit
recently filed by the General Counsel of TCP International Holdings
Ltd (TCP), Laura Hauser:
It is with deep sadness and regret that I learned about this
lawsuit. I have assured all of the employees of TCP and other
stakeholders in the company that the claims asserted against me are
meritless. While I cannot comment on the specifics of the lawsuit,
I have a very results-oriented leadership style. I am passionate
about my work and TCP, I have high expectations of others, and it
was that skill set that helped me build TCP from zero to more than
$400 million a year in revenue.
I am fully cooperating with the Audit Committee of TCP's Board
of Directors in its ongoing investigation.
The interests of TCP's shareholders, customers and employees are
of paramount importance to me. I remain absolutely committed to the
success of TCP. I have complete faith in our judicial system, and I
look forward to resolving these disputes once I have the
opportunity to present my side to these claims.
