BATON ROUGE, La., June 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On
Tuesday, June 20, Republic Finance
presented its 2017 fundraising proceeds to the American Cancer
Society. Through the efforts of Republic Finance employees across
seven states, the regional lender raised $34,682.24 for lifesaving research toward finding
better treatments and cures for cancer.
With over 160 branch locations in the southeastern region of the
U.S., Republic Finance believes in taking care of its surrounding
communities. To do this, employees participated in the American
Cancer Society's Relay for Life events in their communities and
contributed through individual donations.
"Republic Finance was proud to partner with American Cancer
Society for the second year in an effort to raise funds in the
fight against cancer. This year's Relay for Life, held during Live
After Five in downtown Baton
Rouge, as well as Lip Sync Battle Baton Rouge, were events
that our team members had a great time attending and participating
in! The team at ACS is a joy to work with and have been a great
help in coordinating our company-wide fund-raising efforts! We are
already looking forward to next year's campaign," said Senior
Marketing Analyst Ashley Ponsaa.
