LONDON--WPP PLC (WPP.LN) Tuesday said it has bought a design agency in the Netherlands called Centrale Holding Du Bois Ording B.V. or dBOD, adding that this will result in a merger with VBAT, a wholly-owned operating company of WPP.

dBOD is a full-service agency specializing in packaging design, corporate design, digital media and retail design, said the holding company engaged in providing communications services. For the 12 months ended Dec. 31, 2014 dBOD's revenue was of 3.3 million euros ($3.7 million), WPP said.

WPP said its revenue from the Netherlands amounts to $300 million.

Shares at 1015 GMT down 4 pence, or 0.3%, at 1,600 pence valuing the company at 20.72 billion pounds ($29.5 billion).
