IRVINE, Calif., March 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Wunderman is
pleased to announce that it will host two panels at the upcoming
South by Southwest Interactive Conference (SXSW) in Austin, Texas. Wunderman LA's new media
director Drew Lewis and executive
creative director Craig Evans will
each host sessions that examine issues that marketers confront
today.
Lewis returns to SXSW after having presented "Loyalty Is Dead,
Long Live Loyalty" in 2014. For Evans, this is his introduction to
the SXSW stage.
Wunderman will also unveil the next installment of Wunderman
Reports, its behind-the-scenes look at all that is happening at
SXSW. From March 12 through March 17,
Wunderman will be sending a dozen citizen journalists from its
offices around the world to blog, tweet and Instagram directly from
Austin. They will be covering the
latest ideas, insights and innovations from industry giants and
up-and-coming visionaries.
"South by Southwest is always exciting because it provides a
deeper look into the issues and opportunities that surround digital
today," said Dan Olson, managing
director at Wunderman LA. "We are very proud to have Craig and Drew
represent Wunderman. Opportunities like this really highlight who
we are as an agency and what we are capable of."

Saturday, March 14
3:30–4:30 PM
JW Marriott, Room 404
Hosted by Drew Lewis, Wunderman
LA
After a successful standing-room-only session at SXSW last year,
Drew Lewis is back to lead a
discussion about the collapse of online equality and what it means
for us "nobodies" and/or "influencees" to have that elusive
verified badge on our social accounts. "Not too long ago, the
Internet was a pretty equal place for brands and consumers. Now
status symbols are swarming every channel, giving priority and
exclusivity to those in the right circles," says Drew. "Let's dive
into the issues and see who has the upper hand in this
status-driven social ecosphere."
Disloyalty Marketing: The Art of the One-Night
Stand
Sunday, March 15
12:45–1:00 PM
Austin Convention Center, Ballroom
B
Hosted by Craig Evans, Wunderman
LA
Loyalty marketing has never been as popular for brands and
marketers as it is right now, which is why Craig Evans is providing an innovative way of
looking at the loyalty space. "If you're a brand looking for a
loyal relationship with your customers, you may find you're being
cheated on," says Evans. "I'll show how embracing an open
relationship and engaging in one-night stands with consumers can
actually create more authentic and enduring loyalty."
