2236 EST (Dow Jones) The spread between the value of Comcast's all-stock offer to Time Warner Cable and the value of TWC shares has widened to 11.3%, unusually large for a deal that is believed to be just a few months from closing. It partly reflects investor nervousness about the bumps the deal has run into, which are outlined in a page-one story in The Wall Street Journal. As of mid-January, Comcast had yet to reach the stage of negotiating conditions with regulators, according to people involved in the deal review.
