Amgen Raises Quarterly Dividend 27%

Amgen Inc. (AMGN) said its board approved a 27% increase in the
biotechnology company's quarterly dividend.
The Thousand Oaks, Calif., company's shares rose 1% to $164.24
in recent after-hours trading. Through Tuesday's close, the stock
has risen 2.1% this year.
The quarterly payout to shareholders increases to $1 a share
from 79 cents a share, to yield 2.5%. The raised dividend is
payable to shareholders of record as of Feb. 16.
Amgen in October raised its 2015 guidance as the company
reported that third-quarter earnings rose 50% on stronger revenue
led by Enbrel and other key drugs.
